In celebration of her first, predominantly Spanish-language album, “Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios)” Kali Uchis and 1800 Tequila joined forces to create a visually stunning livestream concert which premiered exclusively on Kali’s Youtube channel, creating a must-watch global event that bolstered fan engagement and reinforcing 1800’s positioning as the best taste in culture.

I led 1800 Tequila’s inter-agency team on the program’s conception and execution; including: distribution and promotion strategy, artist and label relations, fan engagement strategy and cocktail kit partnership and deployment.

Leading up to the concert premiere, consumers were encouraged to purchase custom Kali Uchis & 1800 Cristalino cocktail kits to enhance “La Experiencia” with a tasteful and unique cocktail experience. In an effort to drive awareness and consumption for 1800’s Cristalino ultra-premium tequila, the kit included a bespoke clarified cocktail recipe along with a limited-edition signed vinyl and custom note from Kali.

Proceeds from the kits were donated to The Human Rights Initiative, a non-profit organization that provides immigrants with free legal and social services to help forge a path to freedom, safety and opportunity.
