Creating the premier entertainment franchise in esports
Activision/Blizzard sought out to create a new global esports league around the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare, unlike any esports league that has come before it. Virtue was tapped to create the branding and visual universe for the league, team branding, and the marketing strategy and campaign for the launch.
The CDL launch signaled a new chapter in sports entertainment at the intersection of culture, competition and community and catapulted gaming’s place in pop culture.

As the Account Director, I was responsible for the program execution and overseeing a cross-functional team responsible for brand development and strategy, creative campaign development, content production, rollout strategy.
